Karnataka admissions run on information that moves weekly and lives in PDF notifications on the KEA and COMEDK portals. A student holding a KCET rank has to work out which colleges are within reach, what is open now and what closes next — from documents written for administrators rather than applicants. Most sites in this space either copy the numbers without saying where they came from, or take money from colleges to place them higher, which makes every recommendation on the page suspect.
We built the portal around provenance. The predictor runs on 52,807 closing ranks transcribed from official KEA and COMEDK publications, and every figure on the site names the notice it came from. The counselling tracker shows what is open, what closes next and what has already been declared, with a link to the official notice on each line and a timestamp saying when that portal was last read — so a visitor can judge how fresh an answer is instead of trusting it. Colleges, courses and exams are browsable and searchable, accounts let a student keep a shortlist, and enquiries reach a counsellor by form or WhatsApp.
